Julian Nolan is the founder and CEO of Iprova, a rapidly growing technology start-up with offices in Lausanne, London and Tokyo – and soon San-Francisco.
Iprova is leading the digital transformation of invention, changing the way new products and services are invented using data and technologies such as machine learning. The company’s customers include Philips, DuPont and Panasonic. Granted patents based on Iprova’s inventions are cited by Google, Microsoft and Amazon, amongst others. Iprova invents in areas including autonomous vehicles, healthcare, finance, education and energy.
Before starting Iprova, Julian was Vice President of Licensing for Honeywell in Europe. Formerly, he worked at the Central Research Laboratories of EMI Music in London. Julian holds a first degree in electronic engineering, postgraduate degrees in subjects which include artificial neural networks, and has over 150 patent filings.
